Carlos Barberan is an established and experienced business consultant who has worked with a variety of leading European energy companies, including Essent Trading, Eon-Endesa, GdF, REPSOL, BP, Sonatrach and others. He has strong expertise in strategy, due diligence, contract negotiation & project development/management and has worked across the natural gas, gas-fired power generation and renewable power (biomass, solar & wind) disciplines for clients in Europe, South America and Africa.

He has been General Manager for GdF Spanish subsidiary company as well as operating from Paris in a senior strategic management role covering GdF’s European marketing. His early career was in management and advisory positions with a Gas Natural subsidiary company in Spain.

Carlos is an industrial engineer by training, holds an MBA from UPC, Barcelona Spain and has a senior management Masters degree from the HEC School of Management in Paris. He is fluent in Spanish, French and English languages.
