Dr Mark Earthey is a very experienced consultant and energy market professional who is a recognised expert in the requirements for GHG Emissions Trading and in ETRM systems from a strategy, process and specification perspective, coupled with knowledge of many software products.

He was previously General Manager of Lacima Consulting responsible for managing all company activities and business development in Europe. Prior to this, he was VP Product Managementf for SunGard Energy Solutions, a leading global vendor of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) products, where he was responsible for guiding the evolution of its leading pan-European ETRM offering - Zainet. Mark's earlier career included an 8 year spell at LogicaCMG, encompassing retail trading & risk consulting  and development of their emissions management activity with him holding the senior position  of Global Manager GHG Emissions Management at time of leaving. His early background was with the electricity company SEEBOARD (now part of EdF Energy) covering UK power trading, middle office and risk management during the deregulation of the GB electricity markets 

Mark has presented at various international conferences, been a representative on UK Dept. of Trade & Industry's "Emissions Seminar Expert Panel" and is quoted in industry media. He is a graduate of Aston Business School, Birmingham UK having gained MSc and DPhil degrees.
